We believe language is one of the most powerful tools we have for bringing people together. It opens doors — to new friendships, new opportunities, and a deeper understanding of the world and each other. That belief is what SIBA stands for, and it's the heart of everything Bay Language Foundation does.
Bay Language Foundation is a California nonprofit, recognized under Section 501(c)(3), organized for charitable and educational purposes. SIBA — Strengthening Intercultural Bridges for Advancement — is our public name and our guiding philosophy: learning a language shouldn't depend on what you can afford.
We support scholarships and tuition assistance, provide educational grants and supplies, and help with transportation so students and families can get to the programs that matter to them — language classes, cultural events, camps, and more.
We're proud to work alongside schools, community groups, and education partners across the Bay Area — including Bay Language Academy, a partner we support with transportation assistance. SIBA and Bay Language Academy are separate, independent organizations, and we're grateful for the chance to work together in service of the same mission.
Everything we do is for the community we serve — no part of what we raise ever benefits a private individual. It all goes back into helping people learn, connect, and grow.
